Farmers Best Popcorn

The process of growing popcorn is similar to that of conventional corn or sweet corn. We plant the popcorn in the spring at the same time as the rest of the field corn. We also use the same planter, but adjust it for a smaller kernel. While growing, our GMO-free popcorn looks like a generic corn field, but as it matures the popcorn cob starts to look different. We use our combine for harvest, then dry the popcorn to a precise moisture before conditioning it. After conditioning, the popcorn is packaged into bulk packages and microwavable bags. Our popcorn is then stored in our climate-controlled warehouse, something you won’t find with most large commercial popcorn companies.
